What is BCD anyway? BCD is an acronym used around VAI to refer to the three founding VAI Partners:
Bennett McPhatter, Chris Westphal and David O'Connor.
We'll use this section to speak to the larger issues affecting the user community:
our vision for VAI and our products, political and legislative issues that affect the user community,
key events and milestones in the industry, and similar topics.
First, though, we echo the sentiments of the editors - this is your newsletter and we earnestly
solicit your feedback. We believe that VisuaLinks and DIG are the premier analytical tools
in their classes and our user community deserves a newsletter to match. Please tell us what you'd like
to see covered and how we can improve this newsletter to meet your needs.
As 2002 comes to a close, we want to thank all of those people who helped make it a spectacular year: |
|
 |
Thanks to all of our clients
This year many new clients experienced the power of VisuaLinks and Digital Information Gateway as we
expanded into new industries. Our existing clients also witnessed numerous improvements, many of which
were guided by customer feedback. We extend our sincere thanks to our entire customer base.

|
 |
Thanks to our partners and resellers
To handle our growing business base, VAI relies on partnerships and resellers to introduce and deliver our
technologies to a wide community of users. These win-win relationships provide our clients with a very stable,
reliable and cost effective solution. |
|
 |
Thanks to our employees
VAI has a diverse, unique and well integrated cadre of employees. Their dedication, time and creative
talents are central to the success of VisuaLinks and DIG. BCD recognizes and appreciates the hard work
our employees have put forth this past year. |
|
 |
Tomorrow and Beyond....
As we start another new year, we can all expect to see important changes in the way analytical systems
are integrated into commercial and government environments. In future newsletters, we will discuss the issues and impacts of these changes. We will also examine international matters, discussing topics important to countries and regions abroad.
