December 2003  Volume 2, Issue 12

Another Successful Year

Another year has come and gone here at Visual Analytics and we have continued to grow in size, expand our client base, and improve our technologies. During 2003, we deployed our VisuaLinks and DIG systems to a wide number of government and commercial organizations worldwide. Our travels have taken us to exciting and exotic places to work on new and interesting projects. We have certainly met some great people throughout this past year. BCD thanks all our clients, integrators, partners, and employees for making this a successful year.

We have also seen quite a number of interesting events happen around the world in 2003. Unfortunately, evil continues to flourish: terrorism threatening democracies, money laundering undermining economies, narcotics destroying societies, and fraud inflating living expenses. This is why our technologies will play an even more important role in the coming year.

In 2004, we expect to break new records and provide our community with even better methods and techniques for accessing, managing, analyzing, and reporting on their data. One of our biggest pushes is to publish the Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) for DIG and VisuaLinks so that they can be integrated with other third-party systems. We will also expand our ability to access remote information sources, incorporate different data formats, and provide better reporting capabilities. We will also continue to evolve the concept of our Data Clarity Suite, addressing virtually all aspects of the collaborative processes related to distributed analytics required in today's enterprise systems. It should be an incredible year for Visual Analytics.
