New Beginnings
2005 is already off to a great start. VAI actively continues to redefine the information sharing and analytical industries by providing cost-effective software that can be easily configured to virtually any type of data environment. The VisuaLinks and DIG systems, collectively called the Data Clarity Suite, have evolved to become the core technologies driving a number of the large-scale analytical systems used in many Government and commercial sectors. In the coming year, VAI will further expand its offerings by delivering additional capabilities developed in-house as well as incorporating other best-of-breed technologies.
VisuaLinks 4.0 will be ready for deployment over the next several months. A significant number of improvements, enhancements, and optimizations have been made to the core engines and functionality. The new interfaces are very impressive and have been redesigned to better accommodate the overall analytical process. Several new features include a Data-VCR, ESRI Mapping, text clustering, and entity extraction. Additionally, the newly added APIs will enable our partners and integrators to better incorporate VisuaLinks and deliver a seamless coupling with their existing applications.
DIG 3.0 is almost out the door and offers some incredible new features including basic queries, localized indexing, HTML interfaces plus a suite of configuration interfaces. The information sharing capabilities designed into DIG are revolutionizing how organizations work with their data. Simple DIG interfaces provide a consolidated view of multiple data sources creating a virtual data warehouse. Using DIG, large volumes of data can be quickly searched and customized reports generated to provide an enterprise-level information management system. Furthermore the server-to-server capabilities provided by DIG enable secure information sharing and real time data integration among different divisions, organizations, agencies, and governments.

Happy New Year to all!!! There are many changes planned for 2005 and VAI is very excited about the pending release of VisuaLinks 4.0 and DIG 3.0. As we mentioned in our last newsletter, the LinkLetter publishing schedule is now quarterly - so expect to receive regular issues in January, April, July, and October. Of course, there may be a special issue generated from time-to-time.
In future newsletters, we will provide more input about how clients are using our technologies throughout the world and present corporate profiles of our active partners. As always, we welcome your input into how we can improve our technologies so we may better serve your analytical needs.
